Q1 2024: What's New?
Additions and improvements made to our eCommerce platform over the previous quarter.

15 businesses from across Greater Manchester dust off their shin pads to help raise money and awareness for some worthy local causes!

Last Friday, Venditan took part in the annual 7-a-side Forever Manchester Football Tournament. The 15 team competition was staged on the 3G Community Pitch at Broadhurst Park, the home of FC United.

The group stages of the tournament comprised of four ten-minute matches. In the fiercely competitive group C, Venditan faced off against Ward Hadaway, Hannan Associates, Bennet Verby and Convergys B.

Team Venditan played valiantly but ultimately missed out on the knockout stages, going down narrowly, 2-0, 2-0, 3-0 and 1-0.

Pixel Kicks, Hannan Associates, Oscar Recruitment and My Accountancy Place/Six and Flow all made it through to the semi-finals. Oscar Recruitment finally took home the coveted Forever Manchester shield at the end of a tense final against Pixel Kicks.

It was a brilliant event which raised £2,250 for some worthy local causes.

The groups to benefit from the money raised include:

Deaf Rhinos: A football club based in Rochdale that provides activities and support for the deaf and hearing impaired community.

Hurst Circle Of Friends: A group for elderly people based at Hurst Community centre. The group fights loneliness within the elderly community by arranging outings, activities and providing a way for people to make new friends.

Monton Voices Community Choir: A choir established to provide respite for carers aged from early 20’s up to 70 years old. The choir is a place where members can make new friends and get some relief from often stressful situations.

A huge well done to Chris, Mike, Callum, Paul, Krzysztof, Kamba, Mark and the 14 other teams who gave up their Friday evening to take part! And congratulations to Oscar Recruitment on winning #FMFootball 2017!
