£1m Covid-19 Grant for Independent Retailers
We are making £1 million available for 100 independent retailers looking to revitalise their eCommerce website during the global pandemic
The forced closure of all non-essential shops in the UK means that the majority of independent retailers are now 100% reliant on their online sales.
While many retailers are enjoying a positive upsurge in online orders, there are some who are being held back by poor performing websites and/or in-efficient order fulfilment processes.
To help support independent retailers, who may have put their growth plans on hold due to Covid-19, we are making a £1million investment fund available during the lockdown period.
All successful applicants will be given a £10,000 grant that will not have to be repaid at any time.
The grant is to be used to future-proof their eCommerce business by:
- Launching a next-generation website on Venditan Commerce, designed and built based on Baymard Institute best practices.
- Optimising their warehouse and stock management processes.
- Simplifying their fulfilment process to get orders to customers faster.
- Increasing their customer satisfaction and loyalty to give them the edge over their competitors.
Are You Eligible?
To be eligible for the scheme, you must be an independent retailer with an annual turnover above £480,000.
The grant can only be put towards a Venditan Commerce replatforming project.

Closing Date For Applications
There is no set closing date for the grant however it is only available to the first 100 retailers who are approved.
